General Counsel

Nathan Jones serves as the General Counsel for The NARBHA Institute, providing legal advice on a wide variety of matters, including joint ventures, real estate, land use, commercial and residential leasing, employee benefits, corporate governance, taxes, contract negotiation, and administrative law. He also serves as Chief Compliance Officer at an inpatient/outpatient behavioral health services provider affiliated with The NARBHA Institute, assisting with regulatory and accreditation-related requirements associated with the provision of care. Launching his law career in 2006, he represented low-income Arizonans in civil litigation and served as a court-appointed child Best Interest Attorney. He also served as a Housing Authority hearing officer and on the Arizona Supreme Court's Committee on Limited Jurisdiction Court Rules. In 2012, the Arizona Community Action Association honored him with the 2012 Margie Frost Champions Against Poverty Award. After completing his undergraduate work at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, he went on to earn his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the Boston University School of Law.
